Off To Camp
Harlo guys, will be away for camp for 3 days and 2 nights, will be back only on Sunday.
It is a Team Building Camp conducted by Team Building Unit and INTIMA of Inti Penang.
It was the similar camp back on last year's August that actually first sparked the 2nd half of my 2007. It helped me to completely recover from everything =) and gained me new meaningful friends that shall remain in my entire life =)
Election of INTIMA Junior Council 2008, a team that will replace the INTIMA High Council 2008 after this semester ends will be conducted at the end of the camp.
So let's hope everything goes smoothly throughout the whole camp, and let's together hope that the newly elected council will shine and excel ~!

My Decision
okay, after weeks of consideration, it will be a YES, so will be off for teambuilding camp starting later until Sunday.
but like what Mr Edmund said, 'make the decision not because of the principal nor the vice principal, but because of youself.'
It's for myself.
This decision will make me stay in the student government until i graduate at the end of 2008 then.
Will be then busy throughout the whole year i think, with a few projects already pending in hand. Relay 2008, Esports at Inti Subang Jaya, Opening Ceremony, INTIMA Conference, Sports Carnival and etc.
Guess, since f2 my life's been never not busy.Destiny, shall i say? if this is what my life is meant to be, so be it =) Busy life is better than living in emptiness isn't it ?

School Reopening !!
next week onwards, the college will enjoy the atmosphere of it's peak number of students around the campus.
with the return of the current still-studying accounting students , as well as input of new ones, it is estimated that another 200 people will be seen traveling around the corridor starting next week onwards.

LLY and TCK will still be teaching us 2 subs
with the absence of LTC in sem3 this time due to her latest promotion
Dr Zahirul aka Mr Stim will be teaching us as well
school reopening !!
recalling what happened on the 1st day of my semester 2 back in july 2007...
i was actually looking forward it, BUT i missed the 1st week !!! yea,the entire 1st week..
thanks to chicken pox~! buy lottery also not that zhun ar~
anyways, next week onwards i will be seen running around with tons of books >.=
the people, esp the new students had always asked me , why i din see u with any books nor notes but you're always around the campus?
haha, i answered them, my course BELUM START !! they were like... o,O ... not yet commence but you're almost everyday here...
ok lar... let's hope and pray that i'll get through semester 3 bah~

anyways, i told miss leon, the head of school of business and accounting that i understand sem 4 is quite easy, and she gave me an instant reply with the word, NO
why?
because she said she gonna fail me no matter how good i do =,="
and she said she gonna ask LTC, whom is the current head of my program to fail my sem 3 wor..
haha, good thing LTC sayang me and backed me up~ said i'm not that easy to be failed wor...
hopefully lerrrr....

18th and 19th of January
Worked with Eden at Wawasan Open University's grand opening on both days...
18th was a day before the grand opening, went there to set up all the things ..

amazingly ... normally a function only has 1 buffet line, or at most 2 or 3... this whole function, has got 12 buffet lines !! omg ! normally will spend about 1 to 2 hours just to set up the buffet line, imagine this time, 12 !!!!
spent the whole 9 hours working time just to unload the things from the lorries, and to set up all the buffet lines.. TIRING !!!
something interesting on 18th was that, when i was standing somewhere near the gate, a guy ran to the guards and asked them to remove the barricade,and he claimed that a minister was paying a visit.
the car came in and stopped right in front of me, well i guess nobody was expecting his shocking arrival. it was Lim Keng Yaik !! the minister of Energy, Water and Communication~ 2nd most powerful chinese politician in Malaysia !!
he came out just right in front of me, nobody was there to accompany him , and he was there one on one with me... i was like... WAaaaaa... a minister was standing right in front of me 1 on 1 !!
then i terus waved my hand to him and greeted him 'Halooooooo~' ending with a high tone...haha, he's funny as usual, he replied my greeting with 'harlooooo' in high tone too..

19th was a hectic day, Wawasan Open University's official opening ceremony ! worked under Eden Catering at there too~ and guess what, Pak Lah was there !!! sooooo yeng !! the moment he arrived, all the police vehicles were surrounding his car, and everyone was there just to see him... YENG ! he wore a blue malay dress o ~ too bad i was only serving the VIP, but not VVIP like him , koh tsu koon and others... but happy that this was the 1st function that has got Pak Lah to involve in...

Should I or Shouldn't I
(ignore the previous post btw)
the issue of whether to remain in INTIMA after the new election ...
if i still want to remain in that student body after april, i will have to join next week's camp as a participant, which it will lead me to the election of brand new committees of INTIMA 2008
or if i choose to quit, joining the camp as spectator is already more than enough.
Apparently Miss Liew had been talking to me over this same issue for the past few days, and yesterday she informed me that this issue had been brought up to the principal, Dr Yap as well.
zzz... never knew it would turn out to be that big and serious...
anyways, Dr Yap said he would like me to be IN on the coming election to continue to serve for the student council, for the students of inti..
dunno lar... still thinking of whether to continue in the student government, or to quit with honour...
things are getting more and more complicated, disputes arised after the war, the few people who were defenseless during so-called war had started to launch their counter attack after the war.
Initially miss liew and i thought that everything would have gone into Peace after that meeting, we were totally WRONG ! things were heated up and have gotten worse...zzz..
i hate to be the middleperson ... that's why i doubt i will continue in the council...
and i'm tired tired tired... dun and wun wanna care about everything will be my final resort... yea, EVERYTHING... this that these those... ham pa lang... dun wanna care liao....
i'm not superman nor bionic man... i too need some rest... some time to breathe in the fresh air too..

107, with my fren's sis as the last person to be accepted into the list..
holy crap... the whole college has about 1150 students, and 117 (including 10 seniors) will be in the student council ?! 1/10 ?!
zzz... dunno lar... last time.. too few people.. worried....
now, too many people.... also worried...
how how HOW ???
even Main Campus' service cell has not more than 50 people...
the more people in it, the higher the possibility for internal affairs to happen..
awww..... no eyes see..
plus INSIDE mia people... making the things complicated... haihz, disappointed with them..

6/1/08 - Day I will remember and treasure =)
3 days before my birthday..
my day started quite late as i slept only after witnessing mu's victory against villa the day before.
woke up at 10 something ... was actually quite pressured for a moment as was thinking about monday's presentation during orientation plus meeting with the new juniors... wonder how it will be like ...
then dropped by at inti for a while for some business lor... mana tahu was late to fetch baby... sorry baby >.- ... scared liao...will change d o... won't be late d next time...
fetched baby , and straightaway we went to dunno what cottage at Waterfall Hotel for appreciation lunch organised for all those who're involved in Penang Adventure Camp 2007
buffet typed lunch, haha, was keen to re-meet all the frens in the camp, sk was there, taryn,rachel, joanne, ronnie,daniel,mandy, others and the key player, Daniel Goh all were there o... too bad lili and vian weren't around ...
had fun and talked a whole lot o... nono, CRAPPED a lot !! almost everything under the sun ~ haha, taryn was telling me about illegal racing stuffs o,O ... and coincidently, met k sis yen seah and BEAR !! allah, the world memang small o !! haha, both of them pak tor-ing there x-D
okay, then went to walk around gurney and watched alvin and the chipmunks ... lolzzz, what a nice nice show !!! gonna watch it again xD ...
okay, now come to the CLIMAX part of the day..
after movie, was hanging around lor... then went to catch some nice sea breeze outside gp... baby was mentioning that she wanna eat faces mia fried ice-cream wor.. (can't believe i fall for it !! wanna know why ? scroll down and read slowly ya )
ok lor... then sayang her mar, and since faces so near gp nia (purposely planned mia !! baby i salute u !! truth coming up...) mar decided to go there to eat lor...

went in that time, saw the whole yp gang there... paise nia, initially tot me n baby dear go there eat dinner and date date mar, then whole group there, will feel paise a bit mer..so wanted to leave d de... mana tahu xinyi dear ngeh si dragged me and said nvm de, can eat with de... and i just got dragged and followed baby in without any further thoughts d !! (no idea since when my brain degenerated mia xP )
REALLY REALLY THOUGHT that it was coincidence that brought of all us there de... because ian yi said they will celebrate with me on tuesday mia... so mar just sat down with them lor... hui ching and ian yi, talked talked talked to me a lot, havta praise u 2 ler, made till i really believe that the meeting really wasn't been arranged mia ...
the rest of the yp gang too, made till that it was fate that brought us there mia...
then all of them ordered food, so as my and baby koay lor...
was talking with hc regarding her future all the way... and something weird happened !!! xinyi dear finished her food faster than me !! omg, she only did that once or twice nia !!! xinyi dear really eats faster d ler i think, or maybe i've gotten slower =S ...
then iy and baby talked... swt nia.. i tot it was about some other stuffs mia... because baby's face was so serious when i asked what she talked with iy. She replied in a very serious face, ' 2nite go home i'll tell u ok ? ' swt... ok lor, really really thought it was dunno what other stuff mia...
then both of them went to toilet, weird thing was, never notice that both of them went to toilet...
that's why din feel anything weird about it, as i was busy crapping and joking with both ming siew and hc...
after they both left, alex went to me and talked to me... mar like normal, talked to him lor... din realise anything was wrong de .. i swear !
ok, now Climax of the Climax... suddenly the singer played happy birthday mia song... tot it was someone's bday, therefore din really care about it ... until i noticed that everyone was looking at me ! swt.. then my brain started to spin ... thoughts then started floating in my brain...
but the time i realised everything was actually a plan, the birthday cake was in front of me d !!!
Only at that time, i realised something was wrong, thought that maybe everything was a plan, maybe boh koh leng so zhun mia, maybe i kena bluffed d !!!
OMG, indeed ! the whole thing was PLANNED !! wa, so shocked, tuesday birthday celebration was a false one, having dinner at faces was a bait !!

my day started quite late as i slept only after witnessing mu's victory against villa the day before.
woke up at 10 something ... was actually quite pressured for a moment as was thinking about monday's presentation during orientation plus meeting with the new juniors... wonder how it will be like ...
then dropped by at inti for a while for some business lor... mana tahu was late to fetch baby... sorry baby >.- ... scared liao...will change d o... won't be late d next time...
fetched baby , and straightaway we went to dunno what cottage at Waterfall Hotel for appreciation lunch organised for all those who're involved in Penang Adventure Camp 2007
buffet typed lunch, haha, was keen to re-meet all the frens in the camp, sk was there, taryn,rachel, joanne, ronnie,daniel,mandy, others and the key player, Daniel Goh all were there o... too bad lili and vian weren't around ...
had fun and talked a whole lot o... nono, CRAPPED a lot !! almost everything under the sun ~ haha, taryn was telling me about illegal racing stuffs o,O ... and coincidently, met k sis yen seah and BEAR !! allah, the world memang small o !! haha, both of them pak tor-ing there x-D
okay, then went to walk around gurney and watched alvin and the chipmunks ... lolzzz, what a nice nice show !!! gonna watch it again xD ...
okay, now come to the CLIMAX part of the day..
after movie, was hanging around lor... then went to catch some nice sea breeze outside gp... baby was mentioning that she wanna eat faces mia fried ice-cream wor.. (can't believe i fall for it !! wanna know why ? scroll down and read slowly ya )
ok lor... then sayang her mar, and since faces so near gp nia (purposely planned mia !! baby i salute u !! truth coming up...) mar decided to go there to eat lor...

New Year + New Year's Eve (31/12/07 - 1/1/08)
gonna include 2 days in this post o, which is New Year's Eve (31/12/2007) and New Year (1/1/08) o~
left home quite late on new year's eve mia, then fetched baby to gurney o~
the traffic, unexpectedly showed such a smooth pace, thought it would be far jammer as it was new year's eve de... mana tahu, just like normal day nia
reached gurney plaza at about 5 something.
to my surprise, the whole place was as COLD as Antarctic !!
omg, new year's eve lehhh... not even the half of amount of ppl during xmas eve leh !!!
this happened to the whole gurney drive too. normally traffic would have been closed at 4 or 5 pm, but this year, at 7 o clock cars were still moving around gurney drive o..
the whole gurney drive plus gurney plaza itself at 7 pm , was so so COLD and people there were so less o...
therefore, me and xinyi dear decided to go to Esplanade ...(yayyy ! glad that we made this decision !!! with no regret xD )
BUT HOW to go ?
okay,i know it sounds crazy, but we actually WALKED from gurney drive all the way to Esplanade.
took us about 1 hour and 20 minutes to reach Esplanade from Gurney Plaza. Phew, what an exercise it was ! but no regret de o ^^
the atmosphere there was so nice !!! the number of people there, not too crowded, yet not too less, what can i say is, JUST RIGHT o ! the breeze and wind was quite cool.
the combination of the weather, atmosphere, surroundings and people made the night itself looked lively, ALMOST PERFECT was the best to describe the night on new year's eve.

me and baby walked around Esplanade, then finally settled down at a quite strategic spot, which in our 2 o'clock was the stage o ~ stood there for about an hour before 12 am o~
chit chatted and enjoyed watching the concert

5 minutes before new year, the emcee invited some VIPs including Dr Teng Hock Nam up to the stage to deliver his speeching and wishing o.

sharp at 10 seconds before 12am, the countdown begun !! with both huge screens showing the clock, all of us counted from 10 to 1 together and then...... HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!

My review :
Never regret walking to Esplanade o ! else i would've missed out lots of fun, pleasant atmosphere and fascinating fireworks !
